As one of our Commercial Lines Property & Casualty Sales Professionals, you will consult with business to help protect against losses caused by workplace injuries, property damage, transportation accidents and other risk sources. In this role, you will have the satisfaction of knowing you represent a company that is "helping people live safer, more secure lives" through premier risk management services. When starting this role, you will participate in an extensive 4-month training program.
Responsibilities:
* Acts as an apprentice to two or three successful Account Executives throughout the 4-month training program
* Propose and sell new policies to businesses
* Achieve activity objectives such as cold calls, prospect identification and submissions.
* Renew profitable accounts by renewing coverage, services and rating plans.
* Meet new business metrics through utilization of the sales skills learned in training and by properly demonstrating all phases of the business market cycle.
* Maintain effective relationships with internal departments such as Underwriting and Loss Prevention as well as relationships externally with customers.
* Use the sales tools provided to track identified metrics and reports on results as requested.

Requirements |
* Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
* Effective written and verbal skills including presentation, persuasion and negotiation skills.
* A general knowledge of insurance products as well as sales techniques preferred but not required.
* Ability to meet state Property & Casualty licensing requirements.
